Scrap
Magazine No_4 was published in May 1987, right before I moved
to Australia with my pregnant wife. I was lucky to get this issue
out because when it was bring printed, the copy machine caught on
fire due to the copious amounts of black used, specifically the Statue
of Liberty image holding the ICBM.
Before
I left, I traveled from Phoenix, to Boston in April, for a SubGenius
Bobalon/Devival, and caught the worst cold of my life. I was
learning more about the Church of the Sacred Dobbs Head, and I wanted
to discover what it was all about. The torn-up sticker on the inside
front cover, that I found on the floor after the show, summed it all
up. An all day, drunken, drugged out, mind-fuck festival dedicated
to Bob Dobbs, or at least thatŐs what happened to me.
I
scanned the originals, cleaned them up, and converted them into PDF
based eBooks. I also threw in a few extra's that were not originally
published, and some of the ads I was using @ the time. You can download
the Adobe Acrobat Reader or eBook reader to view the magazine.
